NEW BOSTON, Texas—Brian and Tracie Underwood, a Texarkana couple who stole more than half a million dollars from an elderly business partner, were sentenced to serve 6 1/2 years in prison Wednesday by a Bowie County jury.

“You will never know what I felt like the last two years knowing that everything I worked for is gone,” said Ben Hatridge during his victim impact statement. “How could you have done this?”
