Man, woman charged for allegedly helping escapee

Two people who reportedly helped an escapee from the Miller County jail pleaded innocent Tuesday in Little River County Circuit Court in Ashdown, Ark., to charges of hindering apprehension.

Joe Allen Green, 19, and Lauren McKee, 20, both of Foreman, Ark., pleaded innocent to the Class D felony charges during their arraignment.

Both were charged with hindering apprehension for allegedly helping Jesse Green, 18, of Foreman, who escaped from the Miller County jail on Feb. 18.
