A 24-year-old Foreman, Ark., woman has been charged with fraud for allegedly obtaining a controlled substance with a fraudulent prescription and will enter a plea today.

Brandyi Burns will appear in Little River County Circuit Court today to enter her plea to the Class C felony, which carries a penalty of three to 10 years in prison.

Burns was arrested about 10 a.m. March 11 on the parking lot of People’s Drug Store by Ashdown police detectives.
