The annual Catfish Fry Dinner, sponsored by the Texakana Area Veterans Council, will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4562 on East Ninth Street (U.S. Highway 82) in Texarkana, Ark.

The dinner costs $8 for adults, $4 for children 12-years-old and under and $6 for military personnel. Carryouts will be available.

The dinner will also include hush puppies, sweet pickles, dill pickles, french fries, iced tea and soft drinks. Patrons will get a chance to participate in a raffle and win prizes.
