Community Healthcore will hold a seminar on mental illness at 6 p.m. April 21 at Smokey Joe’s Barbeque, 5205 W. Park Blvd., Texarkana, Texas. The speaker is Dr. Michael Fuller from the University of Texas medical branch, Galveston.

The presentation will focus on achieving wellness and recovery for people with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and major depressive disorders. Event organizers will also gauge interest in the community in starting a support group.
