Members of the Texarkana College Chemistry Club, TC3, returned from the 237th annual American Chemical Society Convention in Salt Lake City at the end March. The club, a student affiliates chapter of the ACS, was named an Outstanding Student Affiliate Chapter by the ACS last September for projects completed during the 2007-08 academic year. TC3 not only received the commendation of outstanding club but also took home the Green Chemistry Initiative Award.
