Federal Communications Commission officials were in Texarkana Wednesday registering people for converter box coupons and to witness a local station make the switch from analog to digital television.

Another local station is making the switch to digital tonight.

KTAL-TV Channel 6 will flip the switch after its 10 p.m. newscast. It’s the second network in the Texarkana/Shreveport market to make the jump into digital. KMSS Fox 33 switched in February.
