A memoir writing seminar featuring writer John Fooks will be May 2 at First United Methodist Church, DeKalb, Texas.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the class starts at 9 a.m.

Fooks has offered the three-hour “Lifelines” class on occasion since 1989.
