Murder-for-hire trial starts soon

A murder trial begins Tuesday in Nashville, Ark., for a 63-year-old charged in the death of his wife.

The defendant is David Camp of Stamps.

Jury selection starts at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Howard County Courthouse with 80 residents called for the jury pool. The trial is expected to continue at least until Friday, said Bryan Chesshir, Howard County Prosecuting Attorney.

The price for the alleged murder-for-hire plot was reportedly $5,000 and a used pickup.
