A driver and a passenger in a car were taken to the hospital Friday afternoon after a collision with a Texarkana, Ark., School District bus.

The accident occurred at Park and Marietta streets in Texarkana, Ark.. No children were in the bus, driven by Charmetra Ford of Texarkana, Ark.

“She’d already finished her route,” Texarkana, Ark., Police Department officer John D. Cowart said.

The driver and passenger of the car, a gold Mercury Marquis, were taken by LifeNet to a local hospital with unknown injuries. Officers did not release their names,
