The Bowie County Commissioners Court today will consider keeping the county involved in the state’s Victim Identification and Notification Everyday program.

Commissioners will meet at 10 a.m. in the Bowie County Courthouse in New Boston, Texas.

The VINE program is operated through the Texas Attorney General’s Office and allows for victims of felony crimes to be notified of the whereabouts of the convict who victimized them upon that convict’s release from state prison.
