The Bowie Central Appraisal District is looking at operating on a fiscal budget of about $2.1 million budget for 2010.

During the regular monthly meeting Wednesday, the district’s board of directors briefly reviewed next fiscal year’s proposed budget. They agreed to table action to allow more time to study it. The next meeting is 11:30 a.m. June 9.

Of the $2.1 million budget, about $1.6 million is designated to go to district’s appraisal section, which has 21 employees.
