Repeated rainfall over the Little River basin has resulted in high lake levels that have flooded park facilities and created safety hazards.

Officials with thie U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Millwood-Tri Lakes Project Office have closed several parks and boat ramps at Millwood, Dierks, De Queen and Gillham lakes.

Millwood Lake closures include White Cliffs Park, Wilton Landing, River Run West, River Run East, Paraloma Park, Cottonshed Park, Saratoga, Okay Landing, and the majority of Beard’s Bluff Park.
