Group considers use of Red River for commercial travel

The 13th annual Red River Valley Association met Thursday in Texarkana to discuss the possibility of getting the Red River ready to be commercially traveled.

About 70 RRVA officials, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and other interested parties convened at the La Crosse Hotel In Texarkana, Ark., discussing their ideas and plans.
