Texas A&M University-Texarkana is offering an Explore Biotechnology camp July 6-10 at the university’s Science and Technology Building at the Bringle Lake campus.

Organizers of the event say speakers and hands-on activities will provide students ages 14-21 with the opportunities to aggressively explore the field of biotechnology. The camp will be a lab-intensive experience with time to pursue semi-independent projects.

The deadline to apply for the camp is Monday. Registration is limited to 24 students. Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis. ...
