A former jailer has sued ex-Miller County Sheriff Linda Rambo and other sheriff’s officials in federal court in connection with the jailer’s arrest last year.

The lawsuit alleges Audrey Rivas was unlawfully arrested July 9, 2008, for criminal trespass and handcuffed in front of her two small children by Deputy Glendon Flowers.

Rivas had resigned her position as jailer sometime before the arrest because of dissatisfaction with Rambo’s administration, said her attorney, Reggie Koch of Little Rock.
