The Texarkana, Ark., School District Board of Directors agreed during a special meeting Monday to spend $125,000 implementing the America’s Choice School Design improvement program at College Hill Middle School and Arkansas High School.

The money will come out of the district’s carryover Title I funds and will be budgeted for the 2009-10 school year.

The program, started by the Arkansas Department of Education three years ago, focuses on educational restructuring to improve the state’s lowest-performing schools.
