Wadley Regional Medical Center recently purchased a $2 million surgical robot to assist surgeons in performing a variety of procedures.

The da Vinci Si Surgical System was installed at Wadley June 25 and surgeons are being trained on how to use the system.

“I think this is a great service brought to the community that presently has not existed here,” said Thomas Gilbert, Wadley CEO.
