A two-day conference highlighting the broad-reaching influence of Calvinism will be Friday and July 11 at Grace Covenant Church of Texarkana.

The event is in honor of John Calvin, who is considered by many as one of the greatest Christian thinkers of history.

The conference begins at 7 p.m. Friday with Martin Rizley, pastor of Texarkana Reformed Baptist Church, as the speaker for Session I. Session II will feature Curtis Thomas, author of “The Five Points of Calvinism.”
