A trail of blood and a stolen car led Texarkana, Texas, police to an injured jewelry heist suspect Friday afternoon.

Police said four males robbed a Wake Village jewelry store Friday afternoon, leaving the store clerk restrained and beaten in a back room. The suspects took about $1,000 in cash and an unknown amount of jewelry.

At one point, one of the men broke open a jewelry case, severely cutting himself on the glass, said TTPD Officer Billy Giddens.
