The Baptist Bookstore on State Line Avenue is offering a Hospice workshop at 10 a.m. July 23 to help pastors and laypersons tend to the needs of the terminally ill.

“We are building a team for eternity,” said Dr. Mark Markle, bereavement coordinator and counselor at Texas Home Health Hospice. He will speak during the first part of the seminar and will share how the pastor and/or layperson can help coordinate between the patient, family and hospice organizations.
