A local McDonald’s may have a brand new look, but company representatives said it’s their same old values that help them thrive in trying economic times.

The change is noticeable to those driving past the Summer Crossings location near St. Michael Drive and Summerhill Road.

Gone is the red and yellow color scheme—in its place a cool sand-colored wall and a copper roof. An 18-foot addition on the front of the building, larger kitchen, a television and seating are all part of the remodeling.
