A Hope, Ark., chicken farmer says his land is plagued by flooding because of the grading and graveling by FEMA on adjacent property where trailers sit, according to a federal lawsuit filed earlier this month.

Ronald Buck is suing FEMA and the City of Hope.

“In order to store thousands of mobile homes and travel trailers, FEMA leased the city’s property located at 153 Airport Road, Hope, Arkansas,” states the suit filed July 17 on Buck’s behalf by Corey McGaha of the Texarkana firm Patton, Roberts, McWilliams and Capshaw.
