Speedy trial finds Murfreesboro man guilty of selling Xanax

It took only 35 minutes Tuesday for the trial, jury deliberation and verdict in the drug case of Nino Wallace.

Ninth Judicial District Prosecutor Bryan Chesshir said testimony started at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in Pike County Circuit Court. By 9:50 a.m., Wallace was found guilty and sentenced for selling 101 Xanax pills for $150.

Four law enforcement officers and a state crime lab chemist testified during the trial. Wallace was sentenced to four years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
