Officer Brad Sweeden of the Texarkana, Texas, Police Department stands near a Ford Crown Victoria involved in an accident Monday afternoon on Summerhill Road. Ocie Pickings of Hooks, Texas, was turning from South Park Drive onto Summerhill when she struck the side of a trailer being pulled by a GMC pickup, said Officer James Harris. Pickings was taken to a local hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening. The driver of the pickup, Gene Carpenter of Texarkana, Texas, was not injured in the accident.
