NEW BOSTON, Texas—To improve reporting of adult and juvenile criminal cases to the state, the Bowie County Commissioners Court agreed Monday to set up a local Data Advisory Board.

The board is supposed to coordinate information about the county’s adult and juvenile criminal cases and present it to the state. This helps state officials compile statewide crime statistics and analyses, such as trends.

The board will consist of:

• Bowie County Chief Deputy Larry Parker.

• District Attorney Bobby Lockhart.
