Local community members will tout the benefits of health care reform at 10:30 a.m. today outside the Downtown Post Office.

At the event, a new report highlighting important numbers compiled by the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee will be released. The report’s release event will also feature community leaders and volunteers who have been working hard for reform.

In addition to today’s event in Texarkana, the report will be presented this week in Little Rock and Jonesboro, Ark. Other states will hold similar activities urging their representatives to vote yes ...
