A Texarkana, Ark., man accused of beating an automated teller machine with a baseball bat had his day in Miller County court Tuesday.

Michael Joseph Lalonde, 53, allegedly vented his frustration at a computer glitch that left him penniless at the Wells Fargo branch at 621 Hickory St. in Texarkana, Ark.

Wells Fargo bought locally owned Century Bank in December. The switchover did not occur until April. The incident took place about 7:30 p.m. April 25.
