A man and woman from De Queen, Ark., recently pleaded guilty to manufacturing a controlled substance-methamphetamine.

Joseph Cherry, 36, pleaded guilty in Sevier County Circuit Court to manufacturing methamphetamine and was sentenced to 20 years in the Arkansas Department of Correction by 9th Judicial Circuit Judge Tom Cooper.

Betty Burgess, 39, also pleaded guilty to manufacturing methamphetamine and was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the drug charge and 10 years for a probation revocation. Her sentences will run concurrently, said Sevier County Circuit Clerk Pa...
