Texas Conservation poster and essay contest deadlines are Jan. 29.

The Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board and the Association of Texas Soil and Water Conservation Districts, in cooperation with the state’s 216 soil and water conservation districts, annually sponsor the Texas Conservation Awards Program. It recognizes and honors those who dedicate themselves and their talents to the conservation and wise use of renewable natural resources. The local partner is Bowie County Soil and Water Conservation District.
