Cossatot River State Park will host activities Saturday and Sunday.

The park is about 11 miles east of Wickes, Ark., on state Highway 278.



Saturday

Herp Hike--10 a.m.—On the morning nature hike, the park interpreter will search for frogs, salamanders, snakes and turtles. Visitors who are brave enough to search should wear shoes that can get muddy. The meeting place is the water leaf trail head at the visitor center.
