The East Texas Writing Project and the Texas A&M University-Texarkana English Club will host an appearance by nationally known children’s writer Kimberly Willis Holt.

Holt will speak at 7 tonight in Quad 129 in the Aikin Building on the TAMU-T campus.

She has published more than 10 books for readers in grades three through 12, including “When Zachary Beaver Came to Town,” which won the 2000 National Book Award in Young Adult fiction.
