Organizers were so impressed by the quality of entrants in a recent concerto competition they decided to hold a public recital.

The Texarkana Symphony Orchestra will present the 2009 Youth Concerto Competition entrants at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Grove High School auditorium.

Ten regional students will perform works of great composers. On tap for the afternoon are composers like Beethoven, Mozart, Mendelssohn and Kabalevsky.
