A celebration in honor of the Rev. Paul and Ramona Keener’s 18 years of ministry at Hickory Hill Baptist Church is slated for 3 p.m. Sunday.

The guest speaker will be their son, the Rev. David Keener, pastor of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Linden, Texas.

Keener’s service at Hickory Hill began early on in his ministry. During a time when the church was without a pastor, he was invited to preach on several occasions before he accepted the position of pastor.
