A Miller County jury deliberated less than five minutes Tuesday before convicting Joe Kowmi Moore of robbing a local penny arcade.

But it took hours for the seven women and five men to sentence him to 50 years in an Arkansas prison.

“We kind of started at opposite ends of the spectrum,” said the jury’s foreman. “I believe we came to a fair agreement.”
