MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas—Dr. Maya Angelou’s Feb. 19 lecture at Northeast Texas Community College has sold out.

“Demand for tickets has been overwhelming. Dr. Angelou is a phenomenal speaker and her story is truly an inspiration. We are thrilled to be able to bring her to Northeast Texas,” said Carolyn Franks, director of the Whatley Center for Performing Arts, where the event will be held.
