A few guys from Texarkana have turned their devotion to the Dallas Cowboys and their love of tailgating and family into a full-fledged business.

“We decided we wanted to go to every football stadium before we died, so we started following the Cowboys to all their games,” said Alan Garner, who co-founded BlueStar Tailgating with his uncle, Bill Nicklas.

“It started with about 12 of us tailgating and it just blossomed into something bigger,” Nicklas said. “Friends of friends of friends start showing up when we’d put out where we were going to be.”
