BASEBALL: Because of incorrect information provided the Gazette, Carthage High Schools Austin Smith was identified as Garrett Smith in Sundays edition.

Austin Smith had the home run in Carthages 6-2 victory over Liberty-Eylau in the Hallsville/Marshall tournament. The Gazette regrets the error.
