Baseball: Rattlers down Trinity Christian
MURFREESBORO, Ark. Murfreesboro broke a 3-3 tie in the third inning on a home run by Garrett Gills, coasting to a 13-3 victory over Trinity Christian in five innings here Tuesday.
Marc McRae hit a 3-run homer in the first to give the Rattlers an early 3-0 lead. The Warriors tied the score with three runs in the third. Jared Selph doubles and teammates Chance Telford and Coy Altenbaumer singled during Trinitys big inning. The Rattlers took command with seven runs in the fourth on two hits.
