Winner smashes previous record: Daniel Agnew sets new triathlon time of 54:42

Newcomers Daniel Agnew and Darlene Jones were easy winners with Agnew smashing the previous record over the Wright Patman Lake course.

The 20-year-old Agnew from Edmond, Okla., completed the three-tier event in a time of 54 minutes, 42 seconds, eclipsing the previous mark of 56:28 held by Shreveports Patrick Marr, set in 2000.
