Gazette All-Area Baseball: Liberty-Eylau’s Middlebrooks is Player of the Year

The Texarkana Gazette’s 2007 All-Area Baseball team is proof of that fact, with the city’s five schools dominating the elite group.

Liberty-Eylau’s Will Middlebrooks is the MVP after helping the Leopards get back to the 3A state championship game with a perfect 13-0 record on the mound and .529 batting average at the plate. He was recently selected to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State team.
