Dixie Baseball: Texarkana, Searcy in title game

With the tying and go-ahead runs on base, Texarkana’s Greg Milhorn struck out the side to end Hope’s threat in the fifth inning. He allowed no hits while striking out seven over the final three innings in his team’s 3-1 victory.

Searcy’s Matt Calhoun went the distance in pitching a six-hitter and received plenty of offensive support in an 11-1 victory over Sevier County.
