Texarkana College inked two more softball recruits from Northeast Texas this weekend for the 2008-09 season.

Liberty-Eylau shortstop Ashlee Johnson signed a national letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career with TC, and Tom Bean High School senior pitcher Megan Mitchell also signed with the Bulldogs.

“Ashlee is a great athlete, hard worker and has a strong arm,” Texarkana College coach Leslie Messina said. “She’ll also help us on offense; we’re happy to have a player of her caliber on our team.”
