Pleasant Grove was the only winner among the three local teams in the opening round of the Guaranty Bank/Leopard Invitational at Pleasant Grove’s Hawks Field as the Hawks beat Atlanta, 5-3.

In other games, Paris downed Liberty-Eylau, 4-2, Hallsville shut out North Lamar, 9-0, and Henderson downed Arkansas High, 6-2.

Four games are scheduled at both H.E. Markham Park and Hawks Field today beginning at 11 a.m.
