Wild seventh innings are becoming routine for Arkansas High.

The Razorbacks got out of a two-on nobody-out situation in the seventh to hold on for a 2-1 victory over Malvern Tuesday at Razorback Field.

AHS allowed seven runs in the seventh in Friday night’s 6A-South win over Benton.

“I was glad that we were able to get up for a non-conference game,” said Razorback coach Mike Lloyd. “It’s not a light switch that can be turned on and off again; we have to turn it on and keep it on.”
