PARIS, Texas—It was the Indians that got scalped when the DeKalb Bears breezed to an easy 16-4 victory over Grand Saline Friday in a Class 2A bi-district baseball game at North Lamar High School.

A big eight-run second inning was all the Bears needed as DeKalb raised its overall record to 20-7. Grand Saline ends its season at 19-6.

DeKalb advances to play New Diana in the area round next week.
