MARSHALL, Texas—It was a comeback of enormous proportions, to say the least. Linden-Kildare spotted Harleton a 14-run lead before battling back to post a hard-fought 17-14 victory in the opener of the best-of-three series Class 2A bi-district baseball playoff Friday at Marshall High School.

The Tigers, the third seed from District 17-2A, have a chance to sweep the series with today’s second game at 1:30 p.m. on Marshall’s field. If a third game is necessary, it will be played after today’s second game.
