ASHDOWN, Ark.—Barring a Nashville implosion, the 4A-South regional baseball tournament will be an all-District 7 affair in the second round.

Three other District 7 teams advanced to the regional semifinals Saturday during opening-round play, and Ashdown, De Queen and Central Arkansas Christian clinched state tournament berths with victories over District 8 teams.

The host Panthers, District 7 champions, hammered McGehee, 9-2; the Leopards knocked off District 8 winner Pine Bluff Dollarway, 3-0; and CAC outlasted Hamburg, 8-6.
