AUSTIN—Texas High senior Daniel Moser was a win away from the UIL state finals in the 4A boys singles tournament late Monday at the Lakeway World of Tennis Center.

Moser began his semifinal, which was originally scheduled for 2:30, around 9 p.m. Results were unavailable at press time.

Moser had to come from behind in both matches in Monday morning’s quarterfinals before outlasting Chase Curry of Wichita Falls Rider 6-4, 7-5 (7-2).
