OMAHA-NAPLES, Texas—Good things come to those who wait.

That time-tested bromide has never been truer than in the case of Reggie Kumrow, confirmed last weekend as the new head football coach and athletics director at Paul Pewitt High School.

A member of the Brahmas coaching staff for 23 years, Kumrow replaces Brian Huckabay, who recently resigned after seven years at the school. Kumrow was a candidate for the job when Huckabay was hired in 2001.
